    Demuxing

Hello um... well I have the Sony DCR-DVD403E PAL Handycam and its video files are Mpeg2 Muxed so anywhere(with any program) i use them i have problems with the sound or with the quality. The only way i can view them properly is if i dont edit them anywhere so i guess what i need is a program to demux the videos please help

any program suggestions or other ideas would be very helpfull!!!

For demuxing, please use PgcDemux and then use Muxman for muxing as recommended by LT. Columbo

yeah...and you can also mux/demux in MPEG Tools area of TMPGenc (as well as doing many other things with your vid.) Perhaps the most useful/versatile video program around.

you get a 30 day trial...after that time you lose the MPEG2 feature...but it'll still work for MPEG1.

you find MPEG Tools under the "File" button. First go to "Demultiplex" (don't use "Simple Demultiplex") and demux. Remux in "Simple Multiplex"...select MPEG2 Program VBR.
