need help on wmv files

hi all, i'm seriously in need of help.
whenever i play certain wmv files on my laptop using realplayer/windows media player, the audio is all right but the image always turns out to be in negative colour. the video, however turned out to be fine when i used divx player to play it. any idea on what i should do? thanks.

the video, however turned out to be fine when i used divx player to play it

that doesn't sound right, last i checked divx player decodes wmv with whatever dshow gives it. start with ensuring windows media player is up to date

yeh, i've fixed the problem. my windows media player wasn't the latest version. thanks a lot! =)
