Hi there, I hope someone can help me with a which camera issue. I have got a great opportunity to make a documentary. It will bw a long project being filmed at intervals over a couple of years. Appart from making a couple of short super 8 films I have no experience in film making what so ever, so this is going to be a great learning curve. I want to know what camera I should use given that my budget is low! I was looking to get hold of a second hand Canon Xl1s but someone has told me that getting a new SonyHDR-HC1 would be a better option given that it would come with a waranty and that it actually gives a better visual quality and that it is HD to boot.
