i downloaded the spidey movie, i have many files from different people but none of them are playing, i have the divX codecs and the smr patch. any ideas on how or why they are not playing? all my other movies play but none of the spidey movies.

Was most of the movie playing but there was no sound or picture at all? I downloaded one part of spidey and both parts of AOTC and got that on both.

you know how movie downloads are split into 2, the second half is the real deal and i can watch it.

Then I would repeat to you that the Spiderman files are undoubtedly fakes - a situation that is apparently becoming more frequent in the world of shared downloads, from what I've read of several other posts to these forums...

Back up the file. Try divfix. You may also want to load the file in VD, and post the results in "file information" as well as any prompts or errors you recieve.

If you meant DIFFERENT movies, you didn't mean Spiderman. If you meant Spiderman, you didn't mean only DIFFERENT movies.

Xenin, let me try to get this straight. You have the spidey movie. You have 2 parts of them, which means 2 separate files. Is that correct?

If so, do the two of them play? Or just one of them? Or none of them?

Hi I have both parts to the spidey movie and they both play fine. I would be willing to forward them to you. the problem I have is that I cannot burn these copies to CD to play on my DVD player as I keep getting various faults Nero just stops responding during the necoding proccess.

The audio is MPEG Layer-3,56 kBit/s, 24,000 Hz, Stereo

and the Video is 352 x 288, 39861 Frames, 12.500 Frames/Sec, 44 KB/Sec, Unknown Format.

Any ideas how I can convert this or burn direct to VCD.

Yes the movie you downloaded is fake, I downloaded 4 files which were fake.

If you have downloaded using Kazaa refine your search
Search for "SMR Spiderman 2002" / "Spiderman Exellent" / "TMD Spiderman 2002",

All the above files are real and not fake Do not download files with [TMM] or any other filename.

i deleted all the files i had and downloaded an .mpg instead which was over 700mb in the DivX format and its great, sound is awesome and the quality is great as well. the filename is (KCA100)Spiderman which i got off of Kazaa.
