i updated my firmware, is it good now?

i have backed up, alot of movies,a nd use verbatim media, and for some reason, some of them, freeze with 10 min or so left, i use dvefab, and shrink, and burn with dvddecrypter, i just do the main movie, and always tale out the extra language, etc, so, it doesnt have to compress as much, any ideas? once in a while a movie will get pixilated or freeze for a second as well

burning too fast with older firmware or an iffy burner and burning to the edge of the disk usually causes such problems

a nero burn log will give some clues

You could post a burn log. After the burn log is posted, whatever happens, I would suggest burning with ImgBurn which is Dvd Decrypters burn engine updated.

without a burn log we can't tell, the vast majority of verbatim has been good media

just load a blank in and open dvddecrypter and post this part of the right window

i went to that site and it wont link to the a04b, for me, says internet cant connect,? should i be doing all this is safe mode, sorry for the questions/. this dvd burner is old, would getting a new one, update firmware?
