I didn't know Audacity could open WMA files, I will have to test it out
I use Nero, that's not free but most people have a version of Nero (even if it's OEM), so that's why I reccomended it.CYA Later:

Because I bought music from the Walmart download store, Brother Bear 2 to be exact and I cannot put it on my MP3 player!
I love the songs!
But I will try out the suggestions you all gave me.
My friend is getting Nero for my birthday!
and it's today.Comment

OK, I buy from Walmart all the time. They use DRM protection.
There are two choices to this. (well 3 really.)
Choice 1: burn the files to a CD, using Windows Media Player, then rip them as MP3s in your favorite program.
Choice 2: buy the program SoundTaxi (only $15), that will convert them to MP3, and it ignores protection (as far as I know this is the ONLY program that will convert protected files)
Choice 3: find a link to a program called Automate UnDRM (which may be hard because Microsoft complained and got it removed everywhere), that will remove the DRM and give you a non-protected WMA that you can edit with Nero.CYA Later:

Ok Mediamonkey dont work.
and I tried Automate UnDRM and it brought me to FairUse4WM to use instead of that. So I downloaded FairUse4WM and that kept crashing.
What else can I do lol?Comment

I use TotalRecorder to handle that converting stuff. It intercepts the data stream from most programs (WMP, iTunes, RealPlayer, whatever) before it gets to the sound card and allows you to re-record it as .wav, .mp3, .ogg, .flac, etc. It will record much faster than realtime, limited only by the serving software and the encoder speed. For example, I trans record my Audible collection to 80 Kb MP3 at about 8x.Comment
