Dumb question - anybody know?

The proverbial dumb question - can you attach a DVD player (in my case a cheap one that will also play CDs and MP3s, or so itr says) to a computer? If so , how? I have a Hauppage system that lets me watch TV on my PC, but my DH (dumb or dear husband) got this DVD player , thinking it was a player for the computer.

Can you please post the make and model of the dvd player, and the hauppage card model number.

This will help in giving you a sensible answer.
