Want to convert AVI over to DVD+R. Is it possible????

I have over 300 AVI movies and I am wondering if there is a way for me to convert them so I can burn them to DVD and play them in my DVD player.

nero vision> dvd file> shrink to iso> imgburn to dvd

Don't have a tab for DVD file.

Are you telling me to open Nero and click on a tab labled DVD file? Explain to me how to do this. Thanks.

nero vision> made dvd > dvd video>click on the file you want then you figure that out
