    Renaissance!

I have 2 copies of the movie Renaissance (very cool animated movie, check it out). The first one is in French with English subtitles, and very good video quality, the second is in English with poor video quality. What I wanted to do was extract the English audio from the second one, import it into the first one, and cue it up with the video. Then I realized that because this was an animated film, they changed the mouth movements to match the language. In other words, if I imported the English audio, it would never match the video from the French version, and it would appear to be dubbed.

    Damn you technology!!

I doubt if they did 2 different animated versions.

Animation is very expensive to do.

I would bet they are identical.

      Thanks for the welcome Gary.

Nope, they are totally different. It's digitally animated so the process would be a lot less difficult. I'm pretty sure the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon DVD had a similar feature when you changed languages (the mouth movements would match the dub).

If you're interested in the movie, check out a preview here
