Converting audio to SMF

Hi,

Could anyone tell me is it possible to convert audio ,say MP3 to SMF MIDI files, I have a Suzuki electric piano and I am wanting to convert classic piano tunes to play on my piano from the floppy disc drive.

short answer, probably not. some applications might claim they can, but the results flimsy at best. you're better off carefully listening to the music and creating your own
