hi i ripped Lost Season 2 and it seemed like it ripped fine until i encoded it and the .avi file plays but the video and audio is very choppy and blocky. first i used dvddecrypter but then i found this program and it still does the same thing. when i play the ripped .vob file directly it is choppy & blocky as well. the original plays fine so i dont know wats going on or wat i am doing wrong. please help, thanks.

This sounds like a codec or an encoding issue.
Does your player play other AVIs fine?

yeah maybe i should uninstall and reinstall xvid cuz i recently installed klite mega codec pack and then i installed auto gk which also installs xvid so maybe that is the problem. i actually forgot about that til u just said something. i will try that and then repost.... thanks garyComment

well that didnt work.... hhmmmmmm.... maybe i should try uninstalling the whole klite codec pack first cuz all i uninstalled was xvid and then it reinstalled with auto gk.Comment

hi does anyone have any other helpful suggestions cuz i tried uninstalling the codecs and reinstalling them but that didnt work. im thinking its the ripper itself, maybe there is a different kind of protection? i dont know.Comment
