cannot back up dvds

can anyone please tell me why i cant backup any dvd after anay. the dvd the problem is that when i hit the backup icon the program goes away without warning or any other reason please help ..

Dvd Shrik?

If it is Dvd Shrink you are talking about, then go to edit / Preferences / File I/O & make sure burn with Nero is unchecked.
