Help Please

I am trying to convert an avi to mpeg-1, then burn it to a VCD. I successfully converted the .avi to mpeg-1 using TMPGEnc, but when I try to play it on my computer using windows media player it only plays sound, same thing goes with any other player I've tried (real, etc.). When I converted it I made sure it was audio/video conversion. I then used Nero to burn it to a vcd, played it in my dvd player and again, only audio. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

TMPGenc is incompatible with divx 5.xx codecs.

Use an older version of Tmpeg, it should work fine,
