    Question about NERO Smartstart

    Hello all.

How come all the Films/TV Shows i put on CD using Nero Smartstart go out of sync?

Sometimes they can be about 6 or 7 seconds behind. Its most annoying

    Does anybody know why?

BTW, NERO may be is the worst program to do anything apart from Burning Data CD/DVDs. For all others you have dedicated and high quality freeware programs.

you have to check the avi before burning, using nero to burn them as a data
cd will not affect the sync.

only if your dvd player can handle avi play, alot of new dvd players now can do it

then you are using nero to make a vcd or an svcd and that's a heavy duty conversion

your computer may not be up to it, or nero either

both need to be running at their best

                        Sum up Amaru

You have AVI file of the TV show and you want to make that a playable VCD/SVCD right?
Inthat case use TmpgEnc free version and convert..as I told you NERO is not a software designed for that.

It would better for us here if you can provide more information on the file. To do that Download MediaInfo or GSpot and and analyse the AVI with either of these and post the result here. Both are free but MediaInfo provides more detail than GSpot.

I'll do as you advise and post the file details on here later on.

                          Thanks again
