    Philips DVD-R

    I have here DVD-R's that are marked 16x, but when using nero to burn i can only burn at 4x. Furthermore, looking at it using a dvd identifying program also shows 4x. Is there anything I can do to burn at 16x, I am sure it is safe but likely just an error in the descriptor?

      your burner's firmware does not fully support the disks

          Post a burn log, this may shed some light on the issue.
