No video On all Players

    No video On all Players

    OK i Am new to this forum and hoping for some help i have a very strange prob i have all the relevant filters and codecs installed on my system but no video only audio in any format avi mpeg from a cd or dvd etc however if i remove all the check boxes on media player advanced tab in performance then put a window infront of media player and take it off again i can see video be it of poor quality for a few seconds before it dissappears again sorry for the overkill but i am totally stumped when i run the files through g-spot it says they are fine but doesnt render them goes through all processes but just like media player no video just black screen and if i view it using the preview boxs on cucusoft dvd encoder it shows the video perfectly please help before i throw my p.c in the bath arrggghhh

    but 3 days ago everything was fine???????????????????????????????

    System restore 3 days back - will fix it?

          Thanks very much to katzdvd and soup worked a treat any ideas why it might have just stopped playing video ???

            Possible diver corruption or new installation of hardware or software.

              What you could is : START RUN type eventvwr and look at the red crosses. This will give you an idea what causes the conflict. Did you ever clock your videocard or updated your drivers?
