    Ulead Video Studio 9 problems

I recently started using this program, and had no problem capturing video from my Panasonic mini DV camcorder.

I then started the program again and when I went to capture more video, it recognized the camera, however, I could not control the camera, or see any video that was playing on the camera on my computer, and because of this I am no longer able to capture video onto my computer from my camera and I don't know what to do.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the link, but i didn't find anything on there that helped me.

Maybe i should be more specific about the problem. When I turn my camera on (it is connected through firewire) windows recognizes it and asks me what i want to do. I choose the capture video using Ulead option and it opens Ulead and Ulead appears to find the camera when i click capture video, as it brings up info about the camera under the video screen, but I cant control the camera using ulead, and when i play the camera video does not appear on my computer screen. This exact situation repeats itself if I start ulead and then turn on my camera. Ulead recognizes it, but again i cant capture video.

      Thanks again.

Did you check out their support forum?
It also looks like they have a customer support section.
Was this software provided with your camcorder?

I am a member on that site, but as of last night I am not able to log in, which is annoying, because I know it would help. My user name appears in the member list, but I can't log in.

I am able to import using the Windows movie maker, and then I can open what I import with the windows program in Ulead, so I am no able to use the software, although I would like to be able to Import with Ulead for ease of use, so if anyone has anymore ideas that would be great.

          Thanks

EDIT: the software was not provided with my camera, if that helps.
