recording from pc to digital camcorder or vcr

I am very new to doing this and I new some help. I downloaded a movie from a friend (its a divx movie) and want to record it to a vcr tape. I have a digital camcorder (sony) that I use to make movies on my pc (with studio 7) and firewire. My pc does have a cd burner but its not a cd dvd burner. The software is roxio.

So how would I be able to get the movie from my pc to vcr tape? speciasl cables? Please be as detailed as possible.
