fixing audio in video wih AVI format (Help)

I have a video in AVi format in two parts. In the second part I deleted a portion of this. I like to join the two parts of this video. When I tried it with virtualModDub, the software show a window with say that the two archives have diferents sampling rates . How can fixed the problem? How can join the two videos?
The video that I cut when is begining have the audio and the video synchronous. When it advanced, lost sincronization the audio with video.

Please provide the file information from both the avi files.Open each one separately in VDMod.Then click FILE/File information.

When open the first file une window
it appears :

VBR audio in avi is asking for trouble.The video bitrate of the two files are also different.To join avi segments in VD the data rates of the files must be the same.I don't think you will be able to join these without reencoding.However,just give a try with AVIMuxGUI.I doubt it will help,but still....

I joined the the files now

Hi again. Now I fixed the problem thus:
1 I joined both files with VDM
2 Now i cut the part of the final file that i wanted to clear with VDM.
Easy. Only I needed to change the order.

Glad it worked out.Still,be wary about vbr audio in avi.
