    Help please

    iam looking for a program that will filter and fix audio and video signal in a dvd

    i origanilly had a .dat file but couldnt play on my dvd player so converted it to dvd format. once i expand the picture size it getts blury and the sound isnt that good so need something to fix it

    Normally, a .dat file can be MPEG-1 VCD with resolution of 352x240 for NTSC and 352x288 for PAL. Converting VCD to DVD format, you will less or more degrade its quality. Also, the original VCD's quality is important too. Garbage in, garbage out

      Your DVD player can not play DVD? That's weired!!! :?

      Still, the best thing you can do is to convert your VCD's dat file to DivX or XviD, provided your player can support AVI files. Check with the player's documentations. Otherwise, you can convert this AVI files to DVD. In this way you can best retain your original quality.
