    virtual dub saving

i used the interleaving and made the sound match but when i tried to save
the file to an avi as different name it just keeps it out of sync still i have
looked at two different guides to solve this problem.

i ripped the dvd to and the sound was out of sync.

i have star wars movie and i converted it. the sound 13 seconds off. when i
used virtual dub to correct the problem it changed the interleaving to 13000
then i "saved as avi" saved the file then i opened it and it didn't save the
interleaving change it just went back to 13 seconds out of sync.

i have read tried to read how to guides and did what they said to do but it
doesnt work. can ya help me?

here is the guide i read through

If you have done EXACTLY as was detailed in the guide, then you should have got a synched file. Are you sure you reopened the new file(and not the original one)? What is the audio format of the file?

          got it
          1. audio is changed it to full process mode
          2. video as direct stream copy
          3. changed the interleaving numbers
          4. "saved as avi" and played it and it works now.
