VHS to DVD

Hi has anyone encountered this error message while trying to copy VHS to DVD using SHowbiz 2 stating something like 'device is not on or operating'. I have checked all my connections every which way but left and nothing. I only get the audio but no video.

It's been a while since I used this software, but this is the first time I have gotten this error message. I guess I will try to reload the software again and see what happens. But I was just wondering if anyone else out there ran into this issue as well or had some advise on how to troubleshoot...Thanks for reading my troubles....

Does your hardware setup require a S Video to work. I have never used the program you mentioned so I really don't know.

I remember once when I was only getting audio, the S Video had come unplugged.
