trying to capture video in XP, everything but VirtualDub works... why? says "in use"

I love virtualdub (www.virtualdub.org) for capturing video via my ATI RAGE fury pro 32 vivo card... in win98se I had no probs... now I have WinXP Pro, and everything can capture video except virtualdub... ie. Ulead Media Studio, ATI Video-in... this is the error I get... How can I found out what is tying up my capture card/drivers and is thus stopping virtualdub from gaining access to the capture device?

Do you have any video software running. Windows Messenger may be a problem? Use the crtl+alt+del command to see if you have any background apps using windows xp.

Alternatively, it could be a drivers issue. Check the products website, contact tech support, perhaps you may have to change drivers?

These are my running processes in XP... could any of these cause that error in VDub? I'm in desperate need of help
