Camera for progressive scan video

I am producing short clips for internet use and I currently have a Sony FX1 camera.
However, interlacing is a problem since all computer displays are progressive scan.
Would I be better off with a camera that shoots in true progessive mode and if so, which is the best one?

If the end results are for internet clips I wouldnt worry about it. Interlace video plays back just fine on PC screens. You can also encode the video dumped into the PC to progressive if the project absolutely needs non-interlace clips.

Interlaced content will display artifacts on progressive displays unless deinterlaced. Looks to be an MPEG2 camera? All you need is an MPEG2 decoder that can deinterlace on playback; virtually all of them can, and do when the content is detected as interlaced.

Download & install Dscaler5 or just use Media Player Classic for playback.
