    converting .flv files?

Downloaded a .flv video file which played fine over my pc. Converted same to dvd format and viewed it over my tv. Was not quite as sharp. Can the .flv file be convertd to another format or would anything be gained by doing so?
    Thanks.

DVD Flick handles .flv formatted files...worth a try I guess.

It's free so it will only cost you a .30 cent disc and some time.'

EDIT: What program did you use that gave the undesirable results?

If the FLV files were originally from Youtube or a similar source, chances are not much can be done. The files are typically 320x240, which may look fine on a PC when displayed at that res, but when upscaled so much, all you're likely to get is a blocky mess I'm afraid.

convertd to another format or would anything be gained by doing so?
Further processing will, in most cases, only further degrade quality.

I have used DVD Flick and Nero. I do not think the pgm is at fault as much as the file type. Thanks~
