    Movies on USB drive

    Hi guys,

    Got a WDPasport 40gb USB drive to play movies on (@work) been working pretty good. Added a USB driver to the drive and no problems playing. After ripping and coping movies to the USB drive I had one start to stutter. It'll play for a while then pause, then continue, gets to be annoying.

    What can I do to prevent this?

      Not really familiar with a USB drive, but does it maybe need to be defragmented.

          that's an awful lot of stuff running usb, is it all usb2?

          might try moving some stuff around and balanced out resources(usb)
