Or the one handing out infractions makes it public in the thread the infraction is handed out in.Don't worry gonwk, only you (and mods) can see your own infractions (even if expired - it's there so that moderators can check past history), so once they expire, nobody will know you've had them in the first place unless you happen to mention them in a thread such as this one.

The infraction shows up where the rep used to...if there is nothing there then you haven't recieved any.

not the best way to handle them but in some extreme cases it seems to work better, "icing on the cake", it also lets others know that the rules are being enforcedOr the one handing out infractions makes it public in the thread the infraction is handed out in.Comment
