thanks again for the extra help and knowledge

1.) Is luminance linearity, or video linearity the same? or how do u test luminance linearity? and what causes bad luminance linearity? and does a TBC correct luminance linearity?

2.) Remember there are several signals within a video signal. Luminance, chrominance, H pulse, V pulse, color burst, H blanking, V blanking and VITS signals

What is the IRE for luminance?
what is the IRE for Chrominance?
what is the IRE for VITS?

3.) When i look at a video signal on the waveform monitor where is the VITS signals at?

      color frequencies are as follows: 0.5Mhz, 1.5Mhz, 2.0Mhz, 3.0Mhz, 3.58Mhz and finally 4.2Mhz

In order the "ACTIVE VIDEO interval"when looking at the waveform monitor is goes

      ACTIVE VIDEO: BAR and FREQUENCYS:

      1.) White is 0.5Mhz?
      2.) blue is 1.5Mhz?
      3.) Gray is 2.0Mhz?
      4.) Yellow is 3.0Mhz?
      5.) Green is 3.58Mhz?
      6.) Red is 4.2Mhz?
      7.) black is ?

Whats the different between the H pulse V pulse VS the H blanking, V blanking?

What does the H pulse do or set?
what does the V pulse do or set?
What does the H blanking do or set?
what does the V blanking do or set?

I still don't understand about pulses VS blanking?

What is the frequency and IRE for the H pulse? -40 IRE at what frequency?

what is the frequency and IRE for the V pulse? -40 IRE at what frequency?

What is the frequency and IRE for the H blanking? (-40 IRE at what frequency?)

what is the Frequency and IRE for the V blanking? (-40 IRE at what frequency?)
