Buy Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden. To find out your drive's capabilities, open ImgBurn and go
Tools → Drive → Capabilities

Listen to Blu....I bought some Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's recently after reading suggestions for those in this group...and those are the best discs I have ever owned. You definitely get what you pay for!

I used Taiyo Yuden but at times backups I made for other people would not play on some home set top dvd players
that were not old.
On the other hand,
Verbatim was never a problem for anyone's set top.
so I stopped using the TU...Comment
