    Multiple burns with dual core

Is it possible to set up a dual core processor and run two burns; each with varying data? Or, rather, burn two disks different disks at one time?

    A side note...
Are lightscribe verbatim duel layer disks worth using? Is the media solid ? Is it ok to burn duel later disks at 8~10 and 12x? or should I stick with 2.4x?

    Thanks guys.

dvd burning should only use 10-20% of a single core, I have done it in a few tests with 2 burners but the real problem is hard disk I/O. Even using matched burners on seperate cable/controllers and burning the same set of files from one hard drive is a mess, however 2 different sets of files from 2 seperate hard drives on seperate controller/cables is a piece of cake.

with the right burner you should be able to burn verb dl at 4X with good results

few people get good burns at 8X
