    Which one?????????? PLEASE

Hello, I am about to buy a new camcorder to start shooting professionally.

I have to decide between these three models, and I am having some trouble doing that:

    - Sony HDR-FX1 - Pros: HD, great image quality.
    Cons: No XLR ports. Price.

    - Sony DSR-PD170 Pros: 2 XLR ports, incredible low-light capabilities, great image, supports DVCam.
    Cons: No HD.

    - Panasonic DVX100B Pros: Great image.
Cons: No HD, no XLR ports. No DVCam.

    Help please.

For the HD parameter, go with the HDR-FX1. Use adaptors for the audio portion so that you have the xlr connection. True the price is somewhat high, but then again, you get what you pay for.

True HD does not come cheap. Perhaps 10 or so years from now you might find a true HD consumer grade camera for a few hundred bucks, but since HD is still in its infancy and new, expect to pay the high price for the high quality.

    Here..I will fix it!
