DVD Flick burning problem

hi, i was using DVD Flick for some time and it was running properly with no probs but yesterday when i burnt a DVD an error ocurred ''6:02:13 PM: -1 from AuthorDVD: DVD was not authored.''
i was always using sony DVD-R 4.7GB 1x-16x without a prob, but i dont know waht happened this time. pls can anyone tell me how to fix it?thx

AuthorDVD: DVD was not authored

That error means that DVD Flick didn't finish the conversion process (authoring) and shouldn't have anything to do with the burning process....can you play the file on your PC with no problems before the converting it? The file may be corrupt and that is why DVD Flick is choking on it...you might want to try a different program such as ConvertXtoDVD just as a cross check of the quality of the file.

Not free, but there is a trial...

it will leave a watermark, but may elimate the corruption of the file and point to the software as the problem.

BTW, what format was this file. I've discovered recently that Flick doesn't like Dixv files. It lists an unreasonable amount of time, and whopping file size when I trird to load one. So, I never try using it with a Dixv file.
