          I donot have any specific clip ... but i want to make some avatars from the movie 300 ....

          Can you specify the software you are using?

                      Of course it does!! Please be careful before you slight a program. LT's av is an animated GIF made from a video clip.
                      This is from the Ulead GIF Animator FAQ:

                          he's right. it's a great program. my av was originally an xvid .avi i made from my dvd.
