Hey,
I'm using a Sony HDD video camera, which i believe is recording in MPEG2 file format. This option can not be changed. Due to it being a HDD camcorder, I am unable to use a raw feed to capture the video from it - rather, I just transfer the files from camera to computer - much the same as a still camera.
The problem is I need to edit these clips, but no program, including ADOBE PREMIERE will recognise the audio on the files... so I am left soundless. And, if i try to convert filetypes, the audio then sounds like 'chipmunks'.... Is there any way of using these files? How do i get sound?
This is probably a stupid question, but I'd appreciate as much help as possible. Thanks heaps
Sal
