cannot get load volume when playing dvds

I really dont understand this problem because when I play cds the volume is great . But when I play dvds my volume is hard to here. sorry if this post is duplicated or in the wrong part of the forum but Im an old computer nob any help would be great thank you. Also burning with dvd shrink 3.2!

Im pretty sure that is something in my computer because all dvds do this even brand new ones. And even the ones that we rent anyone with any ideas would be appreciated!

Which player are you using to play DVDs?

It doesnt matter when using media player or showtime thanks for reply!

Play in Media Player Classic.Then configure the AC3 Filter for volume.

the classic media player works great thank you very much you dont know what this means to us. Again Paglamon Thank you very much and I didnt even have to configure the ac3 filter.
