Hi. I have a Sony TRV480 camcorder that I've shot some video with. I'm trying to inport the video in Windows Movie Maker but the program doen't see tha camera. I'm connecting to my PC with a USB connection. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Thank you. I think I know what the problem is. The iLink cable has two small connectors at each end, one for the camera and one for the device it will be plugged into. My computer is brand new and has USB ports but I don't see a port small enough to insert the iLink cable.Comment

You can import your video via USB with Windows movie maker..
I used that connection when I bought a Panasonic Mini-dv camera.
I later added a fire wire port to my Pc and imported that way..[IEEE 1394)
