DivxLand Installed conflict Media Player Classic

I installed DivxLand but when I tried playing an avi with an .srt on Media Player Classic, the subtitles does not come out no more. Is there a way to fix this? Because I just end up uninstalling DivxLand then uninstall K-lite Codec 3.35 and then install it again to restore defaults. It's very tiring, I wanna keep using the both Media Player Classic and DivxLand for Virtualdub because I like putting subtitles on my avi. Thanks
