DVD Shrink won't recognize/open my downloaded movies...

I downloaded several movies from around the internet, mostly DIVX format, some avi, etc.

When I go to open them in DVD Shrink though, some of the are not even showing up, and the other ones that are listed won't open up.

Do I need to convert them? What would I use for that?

Or is it another issue?
