VTS to WMV

Disclaimer: I DO NOT SPEAK COMPUTER VERY WELL. so any answer has to be pretty simple.

I have a home-made dvd with the files in VTS format and to use them for anything I need them to get into WMV. I haven't been successful in finding a free converter, does anyone know where I can get one or how to do this?
