VS. Lite-On Super-Multi LH20A1H. I don't know if this is the right place for this discussion but here goes....

liteon always boasted about thier "smart burn" error correction, does anyone know if the LH20A1H has improved in this area since the SOHW-1693S, which is the burner i have.

Ive got one of those 1693S units, it has worked very well. But then again I dont rush my burns and limit their speed to 8x maximum. Plus I always make sure that the burn process is the only thing happening on the pc so that there is no interruption to the data flow.

Making sure your HDD is defragmented and optimized also helps the on-board buffer and error correction on the lite-on drives.
