    Canon xl2 or hdv.

Im tossing up and have been reading for days and im after some good sound advice on the type of camera to get. I am just about convinced to get a Canon XL2, but im concerned that dv wont be very compatable in a few years and is still a very good quality. I just have a bit of doubt that i would be better off to get a camera that shoots HDV. But i love the functions the XL2 has. I would like your opinon on this matter.

    Thanks
    Jess

I like going to a video store to get a hands on feel of the video camera/s I am considering to get. Then I go online and check for prices. I ended up getting a Canon
HV20. So far I really like it. It will also record at 24p which I really like. Did you check camcorderinfo for test results ?
