2 TV - From PC .... How ?

With my system , having ATI All-In-Wonder 9kPro Video card with A/V outs. Couldnt I simply connect to one of those simple A/V broadcaster units , and have receiver at TV ?
(note; when I used to try to record to vcr from PC's outs, I would have to go into display , and set 2nd monitor as Primary in order to get the video onto tape........a real nuisance, but only way I could get it done. I also took the audio from headset outs on front of tower.!? Again, out of necessity)

I ask , so that I could view .avi or other movie files which are very problematic when trying to put them on DVD discs. (recently, aquiring some with PAL frame rates)

The set up was easy but the reception was deplorable.

I really do like using dvd flick to convert avi's and then burning to dvd to preserve quality

Never did like having a computer set up next to the home entertainment center and all the extra connections
