    I like this concept. I assume it works with the standard RG-6 coxial cable that normally mults thru the entire house.

    Sat or cable coxial comes to a primary location in the basement and then expands to each room in the house with two to three coxial cables to each room.

    Of course this assumes you have a need for HDMI in every room of your house, or maybe a second or third HDTV in other locations in the house.

      Anything to bring down the prices of HDMI, I'm in favour of.

      I'm also interested in UWB and WirelessHD technlogy, which might just allow HDMI over wireless connections - no more messy cables between devices!
