how to put text onto video?

will you please tell me what is the best software that I can use to put text onto video from the beginning to the end of the video?

I have some personal videos and i want to publish them on the net, but I want to put a title that means they belong tome so no one can copy them and tell they are his.. so I want the best software which can do that..

there are many of softwares but it take time to master it but you can use windows movie maker to add simpele text

and i will put some software name that you can use also
