Something Wrong with the forums E-Mail??

This forum keeps e-mailing me that someone has replied to a topic.
But no one has replied. old topics too months old with no replies.
Why do I keep getting these emails if there has been no reply?
Or I will get an email saying that someone has replied. but the email
is about 6 months too late. the reply that the email is talking about.
is months old.

Someone might want to check in on that.

Could be a spammer, that got his posts deleted. That will wake up the email notification on such an old thread.

Shock: Next time you get the email, please post the link to the topic here so I can check it out. It might be as cynthia says just an old thread that spammers keep on bumping (they target certain threads due to the thread's good ranking on search engines or popularity, or something like that).
