How to get VobSub work...?
Hi!
I'm running WinME as my operating system and it begun to have stability issues after I tested different things with it. Vobsub 2.08 was installed on the comp. Later it was upgraded to 2.09. Subtitles worked still fine and I got that left mouse button menu to the mediaplayer 6.4. When I looked properties of the movie I saw Direct Show filter among other codecs on the list.
Well, I re-installed WinME and other needed codecs for audio / video / subtitles (VobSub 2.14). Now I can't play subtitles anymore. I have .SRT subtitle file and it gives me an error when opening the movie:
"Mplayer2 has caused an error in DVOBSUB.AX.
Mplayer2 will now close.
If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer."
I have tried everything from down grading VobSub codec to 2.13..2.09..2.08 and nothing seems to work anymore. Rebooting doesn't help even after every codec's un- / installation.
I tried everything that came to my mind and finally re-installed OS, again. Still VobSub doesn't work. Now I'm wondering, do I need to have something else installed before I get VobSub work?
Plz help, I'm getting hopeless with this...
PS. I also tried to input this from the command prompt again:
c:\windows\system\regsvr32 /s DVOBSUB.AX
...It didn't make it work
