shrink is gone

Hey,
I already did many copies of DVDs mainly shows. But now I am having an issue and I need help: when I click "backup" the shrink soft simply disappear like I had clicked "close" program. What is happening? The program simply close when I click "backup". Anyway, I have many free space in my hd !!!
