AVI/DIVX conversion to VCD-help

I cant seem to open my divx files with TMPG (to convert to mpeg-1). It says the file format is not supported.

I also cant create VCD's with nero 5.5 with the avi files I got from splitting a larger Divx movie using Virtual Dub.


Any other options??

Hi there Pokey, just as a matter of interest what verson of TMPGEnc are you using ?

Are you sure that your loading in the right template to convert it to ie. Pal, NTSC, NTSC Film ect ect. Just check that the frames per second (fps) corresponds to the right template your converting to as TMPGEnc tends to freak out if this is not right

You will not be able to creat a VCD with NERO with the AVI file you have, it needs to be converted to MPEG first (using TMPGEnc or NERO (you may mean this)), than burnt off as a VCD
