new to dvd burning...

I have DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and all of the movies I have burned were single layer. The last couple movies I have tried to burn are dual layer and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to rip dual layer dvds and to put them onto single layer dvds?

Discussions regarding decryption/ripping of DVDs or other types of media is prohibited, as is the discussion of tools that can be used for decryption/ripping (eg. DVD Shrink, FixVTS ...)
