Region 2 DVDs

hi all,

I have some region 2 dvds from Europe and I would like to convert them to region free format. So I can play them on my regular DVD instead of having to go out and spend couple hundred dollars on an international dvd player.

I have this movie PAISA and I successfully encoded it and burned it to a DVD, but when I put it in my dvd player, it cannot play. It plays great on my computer. When I used DVD clone on Region 1 dvds, it asked me which region is the dvd manufactured. But for Region 2, I tried many times and wasted many dvds, I don't remember it asking me that question.

How can I get rid off the Region 2 Coding, so it can be play on regular dvds?

Open the ripped DVD project with PgcEdit and click on the green globe icon. Save and burn (transcode if desired/necessary).

However, it is certainly PAL, and if you are in the US/Canada, then your player/TV needs to play PAL DVDs (and not just remove region coding).
